The application of precast structures to municipal waste water treatment plant construction can significantly expedite the project and save considerable cost for both the contractor and the owner. Cretex Midwest, with its specialty casting and heavy-lifting capabilities, has built many structures for treatment plant applications with important savings to the municipality.

Lift stations also represent an ideal application of precast structures. A wide range of vessel retention volumes and mechanical hook-ups can be accommodated. For special applications, structures can be built with T-lok liners, and a variety of rubber or stainless steel pipe connectors.

Structures are typically built as a monolithic base and wall section, with separate precast top. Where depth exceeds transportation limitations, or where weight exceeds field lifting capabilities, structures may be built with separate riser sections with sealed joints.
